Anglesey Moves

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Anglesey Moves, including house clearances, rubbish removal, and related services.

By booking our services, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Services Provided

Anglesey Moves provides house clearances and waste removal services across Anglesey.

House clearances may include full or partial clearance of properties, including furniture, appliances, carpets, and general household contents, as agreed in advance.

We will remove only the items we are instructed to remove by the customer.

2. Pricing & Quotes

All prices are based on the size and volume of the removal, not the time spent on site.

Quotes are provided based on the information supplied by the customer, including photos where provided.

A significant portion of the cost reflects legal waste disposal fees, transport, labour, and compliance.

If additional waste is discovered beyond what was agreed, a revised price may be required before work continues.

3. Skip Hire

Depending on the size of the clearance, waste will either be removed using our own vehicle(s) or a skip will be arranged with a local, reputable skip hire company.

Where a skip is required, the cost of skip hire is included in the quoted price unless stated otherwise.

4. Waste Disposal & Recycling

All waste is disposed of legally and responsibly.

Waste may be:

• Taken to a licensed private waste disposal site (where fees apply), and/or

• Recycled or reused wherever possible to reduce landfill

Recycling and reuse are prioritised wherever practical.

5. Items to Be Removed

Customers must:

• Clearly identify all items to be removed

• Clearly identify any items to be kept before work begins

Anglesey Moves cannot accept responsibility for items removed that were not clearly identified as exclusions.

6. Strip-Out & Sweep-Clear Services

Where agreed, we can strip a property completely, including removal of carpets, furniture, appliances, and contents, leaving the property as a blank canvas.

Sweep-clear services involve a general tidy of cleared areas only and do not include deep cleaning or specialist cleaning unless agreed separately.

7. Excluded & Restricted Waste

We reserve the right to refuse removal of hazardous or restricted waste unless agreed in advance.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Asbestos

• Chemicals, oils, or fuels

• Medical or biological waste

• Builders rubble or hardcore (unless agreed)

• Any waste requiring specialist handling or licences

8. Access, Parking & Skip Placement

The customer is responsible for ensuring:

• Reasonable access to the property

• Suitable parking for our vehicle(s)

• Space for skip placement (if required)

Any access issues (stairs, long carries, restricted access, key collection delays) must be disclosed in advance.

Failure to provide access may result in delays or additional charges.

9. Cancellations & Changes

We ask that customers provide as much notice as possible if cancelling or rescheduling a booking.

Late cancellations may incur charges where labour, skips, or disposal arrangements have already been made.

10. Health, Safety & Conduct

Our team works safely and respectfully at all times.

We reserve the right to:

• Stop work if unsafe conditions are present

• Refuse service in cases of aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour

11. Liability

Anglesey Moves will take reasonable care while carrying out services.

We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage

• Items removed in error where exclusions were not clearly identified

• Delays caused by access issues beyond our control

​

12. Areas Covered

We provide services across Anglesey.

Off-island jobs may be discussed and may incur additional charges.
