Anglesey Moves – Terms & Conditions
🚛 1. About Our Services
Anglesey Moves provides furniture collection and delivery (man and van services) across Anglesey.
Our services include:

Single item collection & delivery
-
Sofa collection (up to 3 items)
-
Half van loads
-
Full van loads
We specialise in collections from Facebook Marketplace, eBay, and private addresses.
📅 2. Booking Terms (Online Booking)
All bookings must be made through our online booking system or agreed directly with us.
By making a booking, you confirm that:

All items have been accurately described
-
Collection and delivery addresses are correct
-
Access details (stairs, narrow access, parking etc.) have been provided
Anglesey Moves reserves the right to amend pricing if the booking details are incorrect or incomplete.
💰 3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking

Additional items or changes may result in extra charges
-
Payment is due on completion of the service
We accept:

Cash
-
Bank transfer
-
Card payment
Payment must be made before items are unloaded at the delivery address.
👥 4. Service Types
-
1 Man Service (You Help)
The customer must be able to assist with lifting at both collection and delivery -
2 Man Service (No Help Needed)
Full service provided with no assistance required from the customer
If assistance is not available when a 1 man service is booked, the service may be upgraded to a 2 man service and charged accordingly.
🛋️ 5. Items & Service Limits

Sofa collection includes up to 3 items total

Additional items must be declared and selected when booking

We reserve the right to refuse items that are unsafe, excessively heavy, or not as described
⏱️ 6. Timing & Access

Customers must ensure items are ready at the agreed time
-
Safe and reasonable access must be available at both collection and delivery locations
-
Delays caused by access issues, unavailable items, or incorrect information may result in additional charges
Anglesey Moves is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
🚫 7. Waiting Time
This service does not include waiting time.
If items are not ready or access is unavailable, we may need to reschedule or apply additional charges.
📦 8. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:

Ensuring all items are ready for collection

Ensuring items are suitably packaged if fragile
-
Informing us of any special handling requirements
We do not dismantle or assemble furniture unless agreed in advance.
We do not disconnect appliances.
🛡️ 9. Insurance & Liability
Anglesey Moves is fully insured for goods in transit.
However:

Items must be suitably prepared for transport
-
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage
-
We are not liable for minor wear and tear resulting from moving large or bulky items through tight spaces
In the unlikely event of damage:
-
Claims must be reported within 24 hours
-
Evidence (photos) may be required
Compensation will be assessed in line with our insurance policy and the declared value of the item.
⚠️ 10. Limitations of Liability
Anglesey Moves will not be held liable for:

Damage caused by inadequate packaging
-
Damage caused by restricted or unsafe access
-
Loss or damage where items were not accurately described
-
Delays outside of our control
❌ 11. Cancellations & Changes

Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice
-
Late cancellations may not be refundable
-
Changes to bookings may affect pricing
📍 12. Service Area
Our services are provided within Anglesey only, unless agreed otherwise in advance.
